Gold Concentration Method--3. Cyanidation

b. Stirring cyanide leaching: on the conditon that pulp concentration is 35 to 50%, the pH 10 to 10.5, cyanide concentration 0.03 to 0.06%, fully stir leaching for more than 24 hours. Making more than 95% of the gold is dissolved to gold cyanide complex. Stirring leaching has mechanical agitation and air agitation.

c. The countercurrent washing and solid-liquid separation: To ensure the cyanide leaching solution and gold residue get fully separated, it generally use more than one single-layer or multi-layer thickener to form a multi-stage countercurrent washing; use filter for multi-stage filtration and washing; use multiple concentrated machine to form a coalition and filter washing. The latter is used more common abroad, while domestically mainly use a single-layer or multi-layer thickener multi-stage countercurrent washing.

d. The purification and deoxy of leachate: get leachate (the liquid) from washing, usually contain 70 to 80ppm or higher suspended solids. To prepare conditions for Zinc replacement, it is necessary to make the content of suspended solids in the liquid down to 5 7ppm, oxygen content down to 1ppm, so it needs purification and deoxy for the liquid.
