Drum Magnetic Separator Used for Magnetite Beneficiation

Drum Magnetic separator refers to kind of equipment which selects according to the magnetism difference between the ore and the barren rock. And it is usually used in the beneficiation of magnetite. There are mainly two kinds of magnetic separators. And they are wet magnetic separators and dry magnetic separators. Magnetic separators with fixed magnetic drum can be applied to the wet separation of fine high-magnetism ore while they, also, can be used to remove the strong magnetic mixture ore from the non-magnetic ore. This kind of magnetic separators can be fed and discharged continuously with its good beneficiation efficiency and large treatment capacity.

The strong magnetic ore is adsorbed to the surface of the drum while the weak magnetic ore and non-magnetic ore are flicked off when the ore pulp enters into the magnetic field. The strong magnetic adsorption on the drum surface revolves with the drum and is brought away from the magnetic field. Finally it will be into bunker to finish the separation. Two kinds of cell body---CTS, CTN and SCTN, can be adapted to different separation requirements. Downstream cell body is used in the separation of the coarse and fine ore 0-6mm, the counter-current cell body is used to separate the coarse and fine ore from 0mm to 6mm and to recycle the heavy-medium in the coal industry while the semi-counter-current cell body is used in separation of the coarse and fine ore from 0mm to 0.5mm,esp. the separation of the fine ore from 0mm to 0.15mm.
