The chemical composition of hematite is the α-Fe2O3, whose crystal form belongs to trigonal system oxide minerals. Hematite is main mineral of the iron oxide, one of the main raw material of ironmaking of hematite.Primary hematite is difficult to meet the need of smelting due to its containing impurities and low grade. So purification is needed to increase iron containt to meet the requirement of smelting. Here, Forui introduce a kind of hematite washing equipment-hematite jigging separator.
Hematite ore dressing methods can be gravity separation, magnetic separation and magnetization roasting method. The gravity separation method is a beneficiation method with small investment and low production cost and it is also the most commonly used hematite ore dressing methods. Gravity separation method is using water as a separation medium and gravity separation equipment for the beneficiation of hematite ore, which can get large iron ore and small gangue separated to discard tailings and purificate the concentrate.
Jig separator is one of the most commonly used gravity separator, which can be employed to process coarse, medium and fine grained hematite, and the hematite must be coarse grained disseminated with obvious specific gravity difference with the gangue, and the best monomer dissociation degree must be ensured before jigging separation.
