Mercury Beneficiation Equipment- Jig Machine

Mercury is red with its big density, crisp nature, and great flotability, so floatation separation, gravity separation and pre-selection can be used together.

1) pre-selection
a. The traditional Pre-selection is hand-selection because its rec color makes it easy to separate with the other material. Hand-selection is usually done on the conveyor belt of 0.1-0.4 wide. The hand-selection of the blocks, sometimes is before the coarse crushing with its selection granularity size of 50-100mm.
b. crushing-screening is another way of pre-selection for mercury ore. The mercury is crisp and it is easy to crush. The mercury is in thefine ore because of the optional crushing, and the correct screen will make the fine down it.

2) gravity separation
The density of mercury is big, which can be taken use by the gravity separation.However. in the separation of mercury, the floatation separation will be adopted together with the gravity separation. The gravity separation equipment is mainly shaking table and jigger. The jigger edals with the material low down the screen and the shaking table improves the grade of the concentrae.

3) floatation separation
Floatation separation is the common and efficient beneficiation method. It can recover not only the mercury in the ore, but also natural mercury & mercury chlorine sulfur. Floatation separation ca be also adoptable for the multi-metal beneficiation.

4) gravity-floatation separation
This separation is very common for mercury recovery. The crushed ore will be milled to be fine. Traprzoid jigger will be used first when the mercury blocks are big and its structure ids easy. Its advantage is simple flow sheet, low power, dewatering-erased, so the operate cost & the building cost is low while the recovery rate is high.
