From the picture, we can see that coarse, medium and fine garnet particles are all attracted by the magnetic roller. The effect of magnetic separation of garnet is worthy of recognition. But it doesn't mean that all the garnet can be recovered by magnetic separation because most of the garnet donot have good magnetic permeability. For the garnet without Magnetic permeability, gravity separation is the best choice. The commonly used gravity separation equipment can be jig concentrator, shaker and so on.

In fact, there are only a small amount of garnet can be recovered by magnetic separation, most of the garnet mine still need to use the gravity separation. Garnet magnetic separator is expensive with low yields, so magnetic separation is not a common used garnet separation method.
