Ferrochrome is patchy disseminated in ferrochromium slag, and there is a significant proportion difference between the ferrochromium and ferrochromium slag, so the most commonly used method is gravity separation. And the jig separator is a good choice for the beneficiation of ferrochrome from ferrochrome smelting slag.

The general ore washing process: 1. crush ferrochromium slag chunks into small pieces; 2. grinding in rod mill for ferrochrome monomer dissociation; 3. use the appropriate jig separator for washing and separation to obtain pure ferrochrome. The remaining residue can be used as new building materials. This method has been widely used in China.
