Working Principle of Magnetic Separator:
The current is passed through the coil, which creates a magnetic field, which magnetizes the expanded steel matrix ring. The matrix material being paramagnetic behaves like a magnet in the magnetic field and thereby attracts the fines.

Usage of Magnetic Separator:
Dry magnetic separator is mainly used in the dry-separating of magnetic material. It works according to magnetic difference of material. It can do well in the beneficiation of magnetite, and magnetic enrichment of low-grade weathered ores.
