Rod mill is a beneficiation equipment which is named so because the grinding media is a steel bar and the wet overflow type is the most commonly used today. It can be used in first level open-circuit grinding, widely applied to artificial stone/sand, mineral processing plant, chemical plant and power plant.

Rod mill is composed of feeding part, discharging part, rotary part, transmission part (reducer, small gear, motors, electrical control) and other major parts. Hollow shaft adopts steel castings, the liner is detachable, slewing gear hobbing use casting, the cylinder body embed with wear-resistant liner, with good resistance to wear. The machine runs smoothly, the work is reliable.

Rod mill host comprises cylinder body, cylinder body is made of inlaid useful wear-resistant material bearing cylinder liner, and maintain its rotation of the bearing, but also have the driving part, such as motor, and transmission gear, pulley, V-belt etc.

That blade parts is generally not major component, at the feed end parts feeding port are arranged inside the screw can be called the inner helical blade, the discharge end parts outlet are arranged inside the screw can also be called the inner spiral blade.
