What is ore washing?

Ore washing is a mining item, which is a beneciation method that use water power and mechanical force to break or loose the ores and wash off the impurity like clay and gangue. It is a necessary step before the breaking and beneficiation of placer ore such as gold, platinum, tungsten, tin and deep oxidation and weathering of lead, copper, iron, manganese, etc.

Why use ore washing?

♦ Hematite and limonite that has large clay content, ore washing to wash off the clay tailings to get high grade lump ore.
