Jigging Equipment for Garnet Dressing Process

LTA1515/2series jig machines belong to double rooms under single plug-fuse type. They exploits water as medium, and separate the concentrate from the gangue or the waste according to the density differences of different materials.

Here is kind garnet of coarse inlay garnet of 10-30mm with clear structure and normal color. And simply crushing and screening can help to liberate or dissociate the garnet granules.
 
For this kind of garnet, Forui suggests flow sheet as crushing-screening-jigging separation. Firstly crushing the ore to be -30mm, and then a vibrating screen will be used to separate the -30mm ore to be 0-6mm, and 6-30mm. The4 the two size ranges will be put into different jig separator to gain garnet. Ore of 0-6mm size will go for fine size jigging machine while the coarse will go for the jigger for coarse size ore. The output tailings from the jigger for big size range will contain some fine size garnet granules, and here the tailings needs further crushing to be 0-6mm and put into the jigger for fine garnet separation. And this is to heighten the recovery rate.

Generally, this kind of garnet has clear boundry with the gangue and the gangue is mainly soft mica. The garnet the hard garnet is easy to liberate from the gangue and there are few intergrowth. So for the flow sheet for the coarse garnet ore, it is necessary to allocate the plants according to the natures of the garnet ore.
