Method of Gold Extraction--1.1 Jigging Separation 1.2 Shaker

1.1 Jigging
The gold extraction method jigging separation is based on the jigger in the gold extraction process. The Jigger is the most commonly used gold extraction equipment. There are many types of jigger, diaphragm jigger is a commonly used one.

The working principle of diaphragm jigger: When the eccentric drive mechanism drives diaphragm repeadly, the water inside the jigger will generate vertical alternating pulsating force through the sieve. The selected materials above the bed, together with the bed ore and water form a particle swarm system. When the flow impacts upward, the particle swarm has loose suspended state, and the mineral particles of different sizes/wight settle at different speeds, the large density coarse particles (bed stone) deposite on the lower layer. When the water speed slow down, the mineral ores of big density and small particle will enter the lower layer through the bed gap under the suction effect.

1.2 Shaker
The shaker gold extraction method depends on shakers for the gold extraction process. The shaker is a extraction equipment which works in the horizontal media stream. It is composed of the bed and the transmission mechanism, the bed is driven by the drive mechanism for vertical reciprocating movement. The mineral extraction is done on the bed surface gradually. Besides the mineral gravity, the factor contributed to the mineral particles movement mainly is differential movemence between rush and bed surface. Ore particles subjected to the stratification perpendicular to the bed and the separation action parallel to the bed surface in the motion. So the result is that different ore particles are discharged from the different bed surface zone. The shaker can be divided into coarse sand bed (> 0.5 mm), fine sand bed (0.5 to 0.074 mm) and mineral mud bed (0.074 to 0.037 mm) according to different mineral particle sizes.
